There is no one-size-fits-all approach to caregiving.

When it comes to the care of your loved one with intellectual disabilities, it is a deeply personal business, one in which every individual has unique needs.

At Overbrook Friedlander Programs (OFP), we provide care and personal assistance for adults with intellectual disabilities and visual impairment or deafblindness in a setting that feels like home. Since 1986, we have provided residential living options and support services for adults who require assistance but want individualized care in a small “family” environment.

With community homes and apartments located in Philadelphia and neighboring Delaware County, OFP has the advantage of being able to offer an individual approach to your personal, medical, recreational, and social needs. With 24-hour supervision by a highly-trained and specialized staff, support services such as self-care and residential living skills, medication management, orientation and mobility, and assistive technology are individually tailored for each resident. These services are complemented by opportunities for community involvement as all of our residents participate in Day Programs to develop social skills in a stimulating community environment.

We pride ourselves on the care we are able to offer your loved one.
